After inflicting a sufficient amount of damage to a Risen elder dragon, they'll enter into a Risen state. In this state, their attacks are much more powerful. With Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax, they'll amass all their strength in one wing before doing a spin attack, and skewering their prey. Stay on the offensive to prevent them from entering this state or to knock them out of it.
